Did you know that West Virginia is the 35 th State and that West Virginia was made on June 20 th 1863.West Virginia also has a state nickname. It is called the Mountain State. West Virginia also has a state song. It is called “My Home Sweet Home” and “This is My West Virginia.”

I think someone would go to my state because a lot of people like to go whitewater rafting. People also like to rock climb, row boating, parachuting, and looking at the Independence Hall.
