Zatz 9/22/03 Objective: To create a collaborative environment in the NSTX control room –Shared graphics, movies, logbook etc among control room computers, display wall –Establish a Gbit speed LAN in control room –Link up Macs and PCs (Xterms excluded) –Can be used for displays during run and at after-run meeting Initial system will be optimized for collaboration within control room –Users outside c.r. can possibly limit performance (at present) This should be considered an ongoing development project
