Teaching, Empowering, Leading, and Learning

The survey originated as a component of the OEA Strategic Action Plan adopted by the OEA Representative Assembly in The Plan directs, “Organize and lead a coalition that will conduct a statewide teaching and learning conditions survey – the nationally respected TELLs survey – and to organize around the results.”

 Time  Facilities and Resources  Community Engagement and Support  Managing Student Conduct  Teacher Leadership  School Leadership  Professional Development  Instructional Practices and Supports  New Teacher Support

 WHO: Certified/licensed school-based educators and administrators (such as teachers, principals, counselors, assistant principals, social workers, school psychologists, etc.)  WHEN: February 2016  WHERE: Administration is encouraged to offer use of the school computer lab during a staff meeting.  HOW: Using your anonymous code, you can take the survey via any internet connection. Building principals and association reps should collaborate on how to distribute the anonymous codes at a future meeting.  WHY: To make YOUR voice heard.

Results will be publicly available in April and can be accessed via the telloregon.org website results are currently posted. Click the “Survey Results” button to see your results.

1.Review your 2014 results with your colleagues and building administrators. 2.Collaborate with your administrator to dedicate a staff meeting in February 2016 to taking the survey. 3.Prepare your colleagues for the survey with the TELL survey talking points. 4.Send any additional questions to
