CHALLENGES AHEAD…

TEAMWORK NEEDED… Senator Lamar Alexander said Thursday he plans to hold six oversight hearings this year on the new Every Student Succeeds Act “to make sure that the law is being implemented in the way that Congress wrote it.” He also said he’ll be encouraging state-level organizations to form coalitions like the national education groups that have banded together to work on implementation.
