Project Second Wind Monday, February 22 – Friday, February 26 1 more day until project Second Wind! 1,109,000 emergency food boxes were distributed to families across Oregon last year. These food boxes contain the donations and financial support that we donate. Let’s get are cans or money ready and show our school spirit and support for project Second Wind. Together we can make a difference. Food and money will be collected at each of the entrances to the school starting Monday morning

Project Second Wind Monday, February 22 – Friday, February 26 Oregon Food Bank needs these nutritious foods: - canned meats (i.e., tuna, chicken, salmon) - canned and boxed meals (i.e., soup, chili, stew, macaroni and cheese) - peanut butter and other nut butters - canned or dried beans and peas (i.e., black, pinto, lentils) - pasta, rice, cereal - canned fruits and vegetables percent fruit or vegetable juice (canned, plastic or boxed) - cooking oil - shelf-stable milk -consider donating healthy, low-fat and low- sugar products To ensure food safety, Oregon Food Bank cannot use: - rusty or unlabeled cans - perishable items (applies only to food drive donations) - homemade items - noncommercial canned or packaged items - alcoholic beverages, mixes or soda - open or used items

STUDENT STORE * Open Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 8:45-9:15 * Good prices for essential supplies (pencils, paper, erasers, etc.) * Run by your peers!
