 Autumn 2014: “Language and playing hand in hand”  Spring 2015: “Who are we?” How to highlight that we have children with multiple languages and multiple cultures?  Year : “Who are we?” How can we pair culture with language and playing? 2

 “The children should be allowed to develop tolerance and interest for each other and respect for each other’s backgrounds, no matter cultural and religious or spiritual belonging.”  “The children should be allowed knowledge of Christian holidays and traditions and traditions inked to holidays and religions which are represented in the child group.”  “The children should be allowed to get to know religion, ethics and philosophy as a part of culture and society.” 6

 The children’s different experiences and knowledge regarding language, culture and religion should be reflected every day in the kindergarten.  All children shall be able to find recognition that confirms their identities.  The kindergarten shall reflect and respect the diversity which is represented in the child group,  as well as bringing along values in Christian and humanistic inheritance and tradition. 7

We want:  To give the children joint experiences for further development of playing and language. 8
