Introduction A Census of Population and Housing is usually carried out once in every 10 years; Last one was in 2001 after a lapse of 20 years; confined to 18 out of 25 districts. CPH 2011 will be the 14 th Census and will cover the entire country (all districts including Northern and Eastern Provinces) after 30 years. 3
