Louisa May Alcott Born in 1832 in German town Pennsylvania. Lived in German town and then moved to a cottage on a 2 acre land Then later moved to a utopian Fruitland She liked to visit the library of Ralph Waldo Emerson. That ’ s where she started to like books. That ’ s probably what inspired her to write. She became a social reformer because of the little opportunities for women in her community. She grew up in a life of poverty
