Expectation : Read at home minutes per day, 5-7 days per week. Purpose : Reading practice to improve reading skills at your individual reading level. Weekly Assignment : You will be asked to write about the book you are reading, applying what skills and knowledge we are working on in your SpringBoard book. For example, we are working on conflict, genre, and point of view, so next Wednesday you could be asked to write about any or all of those about the book you are reading.
