Please write this learning target in your planner: Learning Target  I will learn about the concept (idea) of change. Practice Activities  I will prewrite for a poem.  I will learn a new vocabulary word.  I will write a frame poem.  I will learn what my reading expectations are. Success Criteria  I will have filled out a graphic organizer.  I will have written a frame poem.

 Expectation : Read at home minutes per day, 5-7 days per week.  Purpose : Reading practice to improve reading skills at your individual reading level.  Weekly Assignment : You will be asked to write about the book you are reading, applying what skills and knowledge we are working on in your SpringBoard book. For example, we are working on conflict, genre, and point of view, so next Wednesday you could be asked to write about any or all of those about the book you are reading. Next time you might write about characterization in your book. BRING YOUR BOOKS TOMORROW
