GOOD PRACTICE 1.Arrive Early & Arrange Activities before Children arrive 2.Have Plan of Area 3.Safety Check: Hall, Changing facilities, Benches, Toilets & Fire Exits 4.Registration of Children – Attendance/Contact Info/Special Needs 5.Two Coaches Co-ordinating – Not Attending Stations (Floating Coaches) 6.Two/Three children per station is the ideal 7.Coach always present at moveable stations i.e. Hurdles/Ladders - Safety 8.Availability of Phone & First Aid Kit/Defibrillator in case of an emergency 9.Spare Equipment Available to Coaches – Harder/Easier 10.Number Stations & Station Cards – Assists with the Direction of Movement 11.Ensure Session Completed within an hour 12.Children Start & Stop on the sound of Music/Air Horn/Whistle etc 13.Grouping Children - Line children in a train formation, group coach is the train driver & drops of two/three pupils at each station – (Collective Warm Up) 14.Grouping Children – Behaviour Reasons/Older with Younger etc
