Marketing Marketing is the action or business of promoting and selling products or services. Marketing to me, is advertising or trying to sell a product and/ or a service to someone other than yourself. I’ve learned a lot marketing throughout my two semesters of taking this class. The sales at my store are always high because we stay constantly busy. **Every job has different job responsibilities. As a cashier, they are there to get people in and out. Supervisor advise them. Co managers help with their departments and help promote whatever we have going on in the front end or around the store. We are all required to help promote. Job search and interview Occupational Therapist Occupational therapist at TIRR Memorial Hermann rehab facilities Downtown in the Texas Medical Center are very patient-centered, and is deliberately planned around an individual’s specific needs and goals. These goals may include increasing independence with basic self-care activities, home care tasks, parenting and care of others, leisure activities, vocational tasks, and a variety of other functional activities. TIRR Memorial Hermann’s occupational therapists also assist with equipment selection and provide expert training to families and caregivers to help ensure a smooth transition from the rehabilitation setting to the community or next level of care.

Job search and Interview continued… Before the interview with TIRR Memorial Hermann, I would do my research with the company. I would look for qualities they look for in their Occupational Therapist. During the interview, I would be sure to always be smiling and bubbly. I would tell them of the experience I have working with patients, being that I will have training working at doctors offices, and other rehab places. After the interview, I will be sure to keep in contact, sending a thank you letter thanking them for their time.
