HOW TO SURVIVE PHYSICS (trust me, it's possible)

the easy points *the tricks

BADGES This isn't the cub scouts or the girl scouts, so of course our badges won't be as fancy or brag-worthy as those. Usually, we look like total dorks in our ID photos, some of us blink- I know, I know. Personally, I'm the kind of person that tapes a cartoon over my face, but I digress... the important thing is that you WEAR IT!!!! YOU GOT IT?! YOU WEAR IT!!!! YOU WEAR IT!!!!! ALL THE TIME!!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY POINTS IT'S WORTH!? 50!!! A DAY!!!! NOT A MONTH, OR A WEEK, A DAY!!!! DAY!!!! HOW MANY?! 50! WEAR IT. Okay, i hope that has gotten through.

ON PLANNERS your parents love you, they'll sign it GET IT SIGNED EVERY WEEK. actually USE it. don't act like you can remember everything you have to do. come on, a planner is not heavy. just keep it on you.\ just DO IT.

time logs Let me give you the low-down on this... they are so hard to keep up with. Dude, I could never keep up with my time log, and i regret it soooooooo much, and it's not like i can go back. The only thing i can do is prevent ya'll from making the same mistake I did. Be honest about it. Really write down the time you spent on your homework every night. If you don't, you'll regret it because honestly, time logs are easy points, just like the planner, and the badge.

SCHOOL SPIRIT EVERY FRIDAY WEAR RED WEAR ORANGE... Mr. Tillay likes orange... personally I hate that color because it doesn't go with my skintone but shhh that's just between us EVERY FRIDAY SPIRIT WEEK Just do it..... it could be pantsless barbecue day at VHS, I really don't care, but do it. EASY POINTS!!!! again. just do it.

the real stuff *how to prove yourself

FUSION TILLAY.PHYSICS.VALLEJOHIGH.SCHOOLFUSION.US- that's not too hard to remember, right??? i mean, type that in everyday for about a week and you'll have it down. you know..... you get more points using the dropbox than you do with the old fashioned paper that you use. think about it like this: you have an excuse to use your computer so your parents don't bag on you PLUS o Who doesn't want to feel futuristic submitting things through the internet???

Homework Me? I'm a theatre kid, so I was always busy working on some new project. Sometimes, there's just not enough time in the day for everything. If you're a junior like i was, every teacher is going to think they're the only teacher and pound on the homework, but that's all right. You'll survive... as long as you do your physics work first. :)

Labs & Tests Why are these two in the same slide, you ask yourself quizzically as you chew on the end of your pencil, contemplating the unfathomable as you try to decipher the- never mind... I bet you're half asleep. Anyway, these things are worth the same amount. It is paramount, imperative, MANDATORY that you spend all your time on these. STUDY. Actually think out your labs and prepare for them. b.s. them and you will suffer the consequences. These are key to passing the class.

3x5's Make as many as possible Keep them Do not, I repeat DO NOT throw them away. You will need these equation cards again, trust me Keep them on your person at all times. You never know when you might need them. Don't think you can memorize all those equations. Sure, they look short and simple enough, but when there are so many of them, it becomes impossible to remember them all This is no joke. Always remember. Never forget.

EXTRA CREDIT If he proposes something- do it If you don't have time- MAKE TIME! Some of the things he might assign will be boring, but you simply have to suck it up and do it. If you want the grade, you have to earn it. Earning it means you have to work for it. Don't pretend like you don't already know that. This is no class for slackers.
