History The Mathematics: Modeling Our World project was led by: Solomon Garfunkel, COMAP, Inc., Lexington, MA Landy Godbold, The Westminster Schools, Atlanta, GA; Henry Pollak, Teachers College, Columbia University, NY, NY COMAP wanted to make a curriculum that encompassed the NCTM Standards.
