An Online Study of Laura Ingalls Wilder

Module The purpose of this module is to allow you to become familiar with the life and works of Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Module After reviewing various websites, you will see homes where Wilder grew up. You can read about her family,friends, and the ways of pioneer life. All of these events are accounted for in the author’s works.

Wilder’s family lived in various places during her life. As we explore information about her, we will visit some of these places. Wilder’s family lived in various places during her life. As we explore information about her, we will visit some of these places.

A time-line activity will help us understand the events that took place in chronological order and what was happening in the world as she lived out her life.

A Venn Diagram activity will allow us to compare the life of Wilder to our lives today. We can see how everyday activities now differ from pioneer life.
