Badlands: are abrupt areas “V”shaped ruts which channel the water of streams and affect material which are subject to erosion These badlands are in Almeria (Spain) Western films are filmed there

Gorges. These gorges are in Catalonia. Gorges are is a deep valley between cliffs often carved from the landscape by a river.

Hoces del Duratón This is a very important Landscape in our community They are located in Sepúlveda A village about 70km from Segovia

Ravines These ravines are in Granada. Ravines area very small valley, which is often the product of streamcutting erosion.

Alluvial plains An alluvial plain is an extensive deposit of materials which fill the bottoms of valleys. This one is located on Guadalquivir zone.

Deltas. This delta is in Tarragona and is called delta del Ebro. Delta is a landform where the mouth of a river flows into an ocean or sea.

Cliffs a cliff or bluff is a significant vertical, or near vertical, rock exposure Cliffs are categorized as erosion landforms due to erosion and weathering. This cliff is in Galicia

Beaches Beaches are formed in the interior of bays between two rocky outcrops or on coastlines where the waves lose their force. There are two types of beaches : rocky and sandy This are spanish beaches.

Coastal pools A coastal pool is a costal lake close of by a sandbank. This one is called La Albufera and it is in Valencia

Land tied islands Island joined to the coast with a nearby outcrop. This example in La Concha beach

Dunes or ergs Dunes are accumulations of sand which move across the ground as a result of the wind. This dunes are in Fuerteventura.

Glaciers A glacier is a large, slow moving river of ice, formed from compacted layers of snow, that slowly deforms and flows in response to gravity. Glacier ice is the largest reservoir of fresh water on Earth. This glacier is Aneto mountain.
