The SLO in PA is written to a specific teacher and a specific class/course/content area for which that teacher provides instruction. PA SLOs

Targeting Growth Activity #1 Read page one of the article. Individually, write a twenty five (25) word summary about what you just read. Share your summary with your team. Create a twenty (20) word summary as a team. Be prepared to share! Text your team summary to ____ & put____ before your response. Troubleshooting: Use in Safari and enter the 6 digit number along with your response. If you are unable to text your response, answer via on your computer.

Read pages 2-4 of the article (6 key elements) In pairs, pick one thing that “surprised” you the most about the key elements of a high-quality SLO Text your “surprise” to: Put the numbers _____ before your response Targeting Growth Activity #2

Targeting Growth Activity #3 Write your response on a post-it and put on chart paper in front of room. In pairs, discuss how SLOs connect to your current building/district/state initiatives. Read page 4 – “Why consider SLOs as a Teacher Evaluation Strategy?”
