YAA Funded by the President to create a portal for students, faculty, staff and alumni early last year Project very visible –Off-the-shelf product highly encourage –Portals already existed on campus from GSB and the student association

What to choose? Uportal is not “off-the-shelf” Purchased the student assoc. product Evaluated two products –Epicentric –Blue Martini (used by GSB) Content management and delivery Commerce Customer management

What we did Selected Blue Martini –Advantage – infinitely configurable –Disadvantage – infinitely configurable Portal will be the common location for application and service access
