YAA Funded by the President to create a portal for students, faculty, staff and alumni early last year Project very visible –Off-the-shelf product highly encourage –Portals already existed on campus from GSB and the student association

What to choose? Uportal is not “off-the-shelf” Purchased the student assoc. product Evaluated two products –Epicentric –Blue Martini (used by GSB) Content management and delivery Commerce Customer management

What we did Selected Blue Martini –Advantage – infinitely configurable –Disadvantage – infinitely configurable Portal will be the common location for application and service access

Where we are Integrated authority to target delivery of content Integrating webmail Integrating Corporate time web client Integrating Peoplesoft Student system Looking at other apps
