The Goal !

Overview The programming session will prepare the chosen software tools for use. The process for imaging the cRIO and flashing the DS will be taught. The set up of the tethered and wireless configurations will be taught. Labview and or WindRiver will be installed and upgraded. Adjourn to the Electrical Assembly Area to carry out the above procedures.

Requirements Laptop Software DVD’s Thumbdrive with software upgrade and DS firmware update files.

Follow the Instructions Turn to chapter 1 of the FRC 2009 Control System Manual. Review the components of the control system. Review section 1.6 of the manual. Section review the “Out of the Box” Benchtop test. Install upgrades to software from thumbdrive.

Follow the Instructions Review the DS and cRIO firmware update (refers to section 5) Review Wireless set up Review Software Development Tools, section You are now ready (when called) to go to the Electrical Assembly Area and carry out the section to
