The election count process was watched by an international delegation of election officials from six countries. The visitors from Sweden, Norway, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia were accompanied by government officials from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister which is responsible for overseeing the election trials. 15 Postal and Absentee Voting Then places the voted ballot in the security envelope. Voter seals the pre-addressed envelope and returns it to the election management headquarters. PowerProfile™ software queries the voter registration database for absentee or postal voters and creates labels and envelopes for the ballot specific to the voter.
