Skills 4 Life Using your Planner 10 tools for success at DMS

1. Students, bring your planner everyday to every class.

2. Immediately start writing your homework down when you arrive in homeroom

3. Check the homework throughout the day on each teacher’s board to make sure that it’s the same.

4. Have your parents sign the planner daily.

5. Write down your assignment exactly as they are on the board. Do not change the writing or abbreviations.

6. If your teacher does not have any homework, write NONE Do NOT leave it blank!!!

7. Write neatly in squares

8. Be responsible for your own things. You are young adults now. Be responsible for your own actions.

9. Were human- everyone forgets things from time to time. Here’s a way to make sure you get your homework no matter what. At this time. Ask 5 people around you for their name and phone #. Write it on the sheet I gave you.

10. Lastly, you can go to: Click on school staff And select Tiffany Holt Click on Assignments and find out what work you need to complete for me. With these tools- you should never have to miss another homework assignment again!!! NO EXCUSES!
