These are a couple of useful strategy that can help you do better on your next PSAT exam.
It’s important to start studying for the PSATs a few days, or maybe even a week before the exam. This way if you run into problems that you need help on you can ask someone and be sure of your answers on the test.
We all know that when studying for a test it’s better to study a little each day rather than cram the night before. Well, the same rule applies to PSAT.
If you know that you’re great at English, but need some work on math, it’s probably a better idea to spend more time studying for the mathematics part of the exam instead of the English.
After you’ve studied enough and feel that you are comfortable with the information, review with a friend in order to check if there’s anything you need to focus on in particular.
It’s important that you feel rested and ready to take the test. Your not going to get such a great score if you’re falling asleep.
Make sure you eat a balanced meal before you go to the exam, you won’t be able to focus on the questions if you’re thinking of food.
Make sure that when you go to the test you have at least two # 2 pencils, and a calculator for the math problems. (Make sure that your calculator has full batteries)
If you’ve followed all the above strategies you’re ready for the test, so just relax and don’t get stressed out.
Don’t become too hasty and choose the first answer that fits. There many be another answer that fits even better than the one you chose.
It’s important that you don’t spend too much time on one problem. If a problem is giving you trouble, go do the other ones, and if you have time, come back and complete it.
