Transitive Transitive verbs pass from a doer to a receiver. Transitive verbs have direct objects. Sandra dropped the teacup on the floor. Kathy played the piano. Can you find the action verb and DO in each of these sentences?

Intransitive Intransitive verbs do not have a receiver of the action. Intransitive verbs do NOT have direct objects. I live in Miami. He drove slowly to Disney World. So if these sentences do not have direct objects, what are those words after the verbs? Adverbs
