EUROCHIP-2 The experience of the study in France

Materials incidents cases diagnosed in 2004 randomly selected in 6 cancer Registries 100 cases for breast cancer (5 Registries) 100 cases for colon rectum (6 Registries) 100 cases for rectum (6 Registries) F RANCIM Calvados Tarn Doubs Bas-Rhin Loire Atlantique Breast Côte-d’Or 36 Colon rectum

Patients were randomized from CR database EUROCHIP-2 DB was filled with collected data by same procedure. Registries looked systematically at the various sources to try to find the information Sources of information used in order were : Pathological reports; Hospital discharge files (administrative records); Screening files; Social insurance records; Multidisciplinary team records; Clinical records, GP/Family doctors, Registry of Comprehensive cancer center.
