All Experimenters MeetingDmitri Denisov Week of July 22 to July 29 D0 Summary  Delivered luminosity and operating efficiency u Delivered: 3.1pb -1 u Live: 1.9pb -1 (~60%)  Major reasons for in- efficiency u Muon readout stability u CFT/SMT downloading issues u Implementation of new trigger list  Halo rates are stable

All Experimenters MeetingDmitri Denisov Week of July 22 to July 29  Luminosity detector u Stable  Silicon detector u Power supplies are running well u Quite time used for calibrations u Noises stable  Calorimeter u Stable u Calibration of Level 1 trigger energy scale  Muon u reason for synhronization errors during readout is understood s specs were not well understood s fix is already in in 1 out of 18 front-end crates - works! s plan to modify all cards (SRCs) during tomorrow access  Forward proton detector u inserting pots during most stores u tunnel access is planned for tomorrow

All Experimenters MeetingDmitri Denisov x beam (Üm) y beam (Üm) June shutdown June shutdown Track method (dca-vs.-å) primary Vertices Beam spot location changed considerably on July 20 Specification is +-1mm and spot was relatively stable since October 2001 shutdown  Markus Warsinsky

All Experimenters MeetingDmitri Denisov New Trigger Version  Since Friday running new trigger version on-line u about 60 triggers for all physics groups as well as commissioning u designed for higher luminosities u keeping most interesting high pt physics triggers un-prescaled u name change s from cal_muon to cal_muon_tracking u Level 1 s calorimeter coverage up to eta=2.4 u Level 2 s filtering on muons, jets, em objects s pt cut is established for muons u Level 3 s filtering on tracks - muons and electrons  Plan to use this trigger version with minor modifications over next few months

All Experimenters MeetingDmitri Denisov Tomorrow Access  Large number of jobs to be accomplished u Muon s modifications of SRCs s repairs to PDTs s installation of TLDs near VME crates power supplies u Calorimeter s power supplies ripples check s spare power supplies installation s replacement of bad cards u Fiber tracker s AFE card replacement s work on tracking trigger hardware/firmware u Operations s installation of He sensors s inspections  Decided to use Supervised Access of a little shorter duration

All Experimenters MeetingDmitri Denisov Summary  Congratulations to Beams Division with setting Tevatron luminosity record!  No serious problems with detector, trigger, DAQ  Planning to use tomorrow access to improve D0 trigger bandwidth  Halo losses are stable over last week, but beam position changed considerably on July 20th  Our major goal is to continue physics data taking with new trigger list V8.00 and continue improving operating efficiency
