 Please make sure that if you are interested in a T-shirt you see Ms. Kilmer.  They are $15.00 and they are a great shirt to wear when you are out doing community service for both this organization and JM.  The possible date for our Fundraiser walk is Thursday, March 12 th and it would be on the High School track immediately after school.  Anyone that is interested in helping plan the walk please speak to Ms. Kilmer after the meeting. President

 Introduction of guest speaker:  Jessica Burger with Big Brothers Big Sisters Vice President

 We are looking into a few fundraiser options for the second term.  The first would be a babysitter’s night here at the school. We would need students willing to help with activities for students from either Hugh Mercer, Lafayette Upper Elementary, or both. This money would go towards key club and any activities we would like to do for the remainder of the school year.  Another fundraiser that will be coming up within the next few months is Bunny Grams which are very similar to Ghost Grams except they are Easter themed.  We have also been in contact with multiple restaurants that we will fundraise with later in the year, a few to mention are Applebee's, Chili’s, and Friday’s.  The FCPS will be hosting Odyssey of the Mind Regional Competition at JM on Saturday, March 7 th, and they need volunteers.  Students can choose to volunteer all day or in two hour increments.  If you are interested there is a sign up sheet going around.  Another option is to help run the food drive at the basketball game on January 23 rd if you are interested you can also sign up for that as well, pending approval from Dr. Rachal  And there is always the Thursday Dinners! If you are going make sure you get it signed off and give Ms. Kilmer your proof! Community Service

 We have a fundraiser!  This fundraiser is for all members that plan on going to DCON this year.  We need your help!!  The fundraiser is simple. How many of us have wanted to wear our pajama pants to school but know that if we do we will be stuck in ISS the next day?  Well, thanks to Key Club there will be a day this year where that is not a worry. During the week of February 23 rd we will be collecting money and every student that pays $2.00 will receive a wristband that allows them to wear pajama pants that Friday, February 27 th. DCON

There is a lot going on over the course of the next few months so please keep an ear open for announcements, check your frequently and stop by Ms. Kilmer’s room any time. There has also been a change on your calendars, we will be meeting March 5 th instead of March 12 th. This is due to conflicting interests of the club.
