SPONSOR SAMUEL De chaplain's sponsor was France. France wanted more land for the new France so Samuel found his part for France.

Impact of Samuel de Champlain Samuel was sent by the French king to set up trading posts for native Americans. The French and the native Americans are allies. But he wanted the money for the French government.

Samuel De Champlain Samuel was a total French loyal. He founded Quebec Canada and died there. After his voyage he traveled in Michigan and set up trading posts for France. He was informed by the French government to set up the trading route.
