The Goal  Provide an education program which is easily adaptable to different corporate cultures.  Help corporations implement the program to bring the organ and tissue donation message to all of their staff.

What is Working? The Wear Life Share Life campaign!  Company plans “Donate Life Day at XYZ Company”  We provide a wide variety of print and electronic communication tools for promotion  On “Donate Life Day at XYZ”  Free on-site changes to driver’s licenses to add donor designation  Free stylish green “Donate Life” bracelets  Emphasis is on the slogan – Wear Life Share Life – employees become advocates

Why is it Working? Why is it working?  Easy for the company  Inexpensive for the company What are the benefits?  Wear Life Share Life is easy for the company to implement  Wear Life Share Life is timeless – the campaign could continue year after year

Measurement  Difficult to do  Results don’t always seem impressive  Learn what to measure  although adding donor designation is important...  measuring number of people who received the message is more important

Our Success 2005 Year to Date  Added Donor Designation to 250 driver’s licenses  Distributed 4000 green bracelets to advocates who just added or already have Donor Designation  Brought our message of organ and tissue donation to 54,000 people through the Wear Life Share Life campaign

Tips to Remember  Having money to spend on the program doesn’t mean automatic success  Need to capitalize on every contact you have  Board members  Recipients  Donor Family members  OPO employees  Get to the highest level in the company that you can  They will say no – ask to come back to them in 6 months and then follow up!
