RISE Research Bradley Gratton

Center for Environmental Energy Engineering (CEEE) I was able to work with a multitude of different graduate and doctorate students from India, China, Poland, and Germany. My main project was rebuilding and updating an experimental air conditioning project that was funded by the DOE. The project was specifically separate latent and sensible cooling.

Separate Sensible and Latent Cooling Helped in replacing the existing heat exchangers with better fitting ones. Resealed and constructed many of the chambers. Completely rewired all the fans, and set up new external electrical box for the system. Rewired a new Data Acquisition System (DAQ) for the system.

Other Tasks Provided a helping hand around the lab on various projects. – Insulting duck work for a wind tunnel – Constructed small test chambers for AC units – Tested and calibrated pressure sensors – Conducted inventory – Dismantled and salvaged parts from old projects
