These battles will stop only if Christians abandon their historic faith on a truly national scale or if the left (progressives) decide that it is content to “live and let live.” When it comes to the core of faith, millions of Christians will echo, by word and deed, the words of Martin Luther: “Here we stand. We can do no other.”

Political/Cultural Engagement There is a Biblical precedent for people of faith to engage the culture to try and influence their legal/social and cultural environment for good and for God. Jeremiah 29:7- “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.”

We are to engage the culture- not just the church but the earth and the world.

Three Examples In Acts 16- Preaching the Gospel at Philippi. Acts 21- Paul preaching the Gospel in Jerusalem. Acts 25- Paul facing false charges by the Jews in court in Caesarea before the new Governor Festus.
