In Afghanistan, education is denied to many children by the Taliban In recent years, violent actions from the Taliban have prevented close to 5 million children from attending school Highest death rates in the world in terms of teachers, students and education employees
Women are afraid to go to schools as they fear getting abused by the Taliban Many children are deprived of the opportunity to be educated, resulting in many uneducated people in Afghanistan Women had little to no rights in Afghanistan as a large part of their lives were being controlled by the Taliban and its restrictions
More women are standing up for their own rights to be educated Victims of the Taliban like Malala Yousafzai have become activists to help women gain their rights to be educated again Raising of awareness in other countries to help people who have been denied access to education to receive education
THANK YOU!
