Why believers need faith not proof If there was proof that God existed we would lose our human freedom. This is because, we would have no choice but to do as God tells us, as we would not want to throw away life in heaven. So, we have to be able to choose for ourselves whether to follow or reject God, and so accept the consequences of our decision. God would not want us to be puppets. Do you have any thoughts on this?
