Why is puberty confusing?

What questions are asked? Why am I the last to need a bra? What should I do if I get my period in class? The teacher called on me when I had an erection! Help?! How do I tell a girl that I like her? Why am I in a bad mood all the time? I had my first “wet dream.” Why is puberty so scary? I h a d m y f i r s t “ w e t d r e a m. ” W h y i s p u b e r t y s o s c a r y ?
