New Yorkers with disabilities earn every day by fulfilling essential business needs through the legislatively-mandated Preferred Source program, satisfying the purchasing requirements of New York State and local government customers.

Through NYS-approved contracts for goods and services, New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc. helps turn business opportunities into jobs for New Yorkers with disabilities – jobs which equal in very real ways in Preferred Source workers’ lives

A not-for-profit member agency organization, NYSID is an ever- growing partnership of 155 community rehabilitation agencies and private sector New York State businesses that work in nearly every county.
