Surface Area and Volume Challenge Construct two 3-Dimensional Figures given large sheets of construction paper: – One that has the largest possible Surface Area – One that has the largest possible Volume

Construction…some ideas… Make a plan! Sketch it out! Make scale models THEN use the large construction paper to build!!!

Conclusions: Please write out.. Explain your process – How did you come up with these shapes? Record your solutions – What is the Surface Area and what is the Volume of your figures? Validate your results – How can you be sure that you found the largest SA and Vol possible given the materials?
