Verifying 12-Step Attendance  Signed attendance cards People usually don’t secretary > l meeting/week Have a distinctive stamp  Check where and when they say they’re going against your county’s list  Ask for their 30-, 60- or 90-day “chips”

Checking AA Attendance  Keep the 12 Steps on the bench and quiz them  Ask if they’re working steps with a sponsor and a workbook  Make them choose a “home” meeting

If they’re going, you’ll know  Ask whether they’re doing service  Ask if they’re talking in meetings  Make them get a sponsor and bring him/her into court for their next appearance  Ask, “Who is Bill W? Dr. Bob?”
