4 th Grade ELA Matrix The 4 th Grade Matrix is a tool for teachers and parents outlining the curriculum, standards, and assessments that make up the individual modules.

Reading Groups One to three books have been chosen per module to use as a small group reading instruction resource. Ten copies of each book have been ordered per classroom. We have also created a Weebly where you will find many helpful links to assist you. ***Please note that some of these are free resources and some are a link to a site, such as Teachers Pay Teachers and have a fee.

Spelling and Grammar We have a new spelling and grammar program for grades 3-5: Spelling ~ Zaner-Bloser Spelling Connections Grammar ~ Zaner-Bloser GUM This program has many online resources, such as games, lessons, and writing prompts. Spelling City If you’d like to have your students take their spelling tests online, the On-Level lists for Spelling Connections have been typed in. In order to access these lists, log in to Spelling City (only takes minutes to set up an account). Search (dropdown tab at the top) Pick teacher Haischer Import lists
