Why We Loan Equipment You can borrow equipment in order to complete assignments required in SIAT courses Equipment is not loaned for personal use or for non-SIAT class work SFU This workshop presentation can be found at
Equipment Damage and Loss You are responsible for any equipment you borrow You will have to pay for the repair or replacement of equipment damaged while on loan to you Camera repairs generally range from $50 -$300 You will have to pay the full replacement cost of any equipment that is lost or stolen while it is on loan to you Camera replacement generally ranges from $500 -$1500 SFU This workshop presentation can be found at
Borrowing Book for the current or following week in person or by phone Bookings are recorded in the booking binder on the Library counter You can sign up only once on each booking sheet (for example, one booking a week for a still camera) SFU This workshop presentation can be found at
Borrowing You can pick up booked equipment between 1:00pm and 3:00pm Keep your receipt for the correct due date and time Check all components are included and in working order before leaving the Library. Once you leave the library checkout counter, you have made agreement with the library that equipment you received are in perfect working order and will be liable for damages SFU This workshop presentation can be found at
Returning Make sure all kit components are returned Return to the library staff - do not leave on the counter Notify staff of any damaged or missing parts Return on time (12pm), fines start at 12:01pm Late fees $3 per HOUR, up to a maximum of $200 total.
