Course Goals ► Explore a variety of current environmental issues & concerns ► Analyze the roles and impact of science, politics, economics and ethics on environmental concerns

Course Format ► Web-enhanced  Reduced Seat-Time – 2 hrs of class time for a 3-hr. course ► Structure:  Introduce topic: in class, each Friday  Explore topic: use text and on-line resources  Discuss: on-line (WebBoard discussion)  Wrap-up: in class discussion & homework
