STATIONARY BELT, DISC, & OSCILLATING SPINDLE SANDERS

Parts 1.Table 2.Table tilting lock lever 3.Belt tracking knobs 4.Belt 6” X 48” Usually 60 or 80 grit 5.Disc 12” diameter Usually 60 or 80 grit 6.Spindle Sanding sleeves 3/8” diameter to 4” diameter Usually 60 or 80 grit

Uses Belt & Disc Sanders 1.Rough sanding of flat edges. 2.Rough sanding of convex (outside) curves. Oscillating Spindle Sander 1.Rough sanding of concave (inside) curves only.

Safety 1.Always makes sure the table is locked securely in place. 2.Never sand stock that fits between the belt, disc, spindle and the table. 3.To sand small pieces use a holding device, such as, pliers. 4.Never force the wood into the sander. 5.Hold all pieces of stock firmly on the table. 6.Sand all pieces on the disc sander on the left (downward stroke) side of the disc. 7.No unnecessary sanding!
