What is a Culture? A Culture is the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively. Examples of culture are types of music, food, clothing,and ethnicity.

Trinidad's Culture Trinidad’s culture and religious calendar reflects the ethnic and religious makeup of the country with the major events being Carnival (pre-lent for Christians). With its massive masquerade bands, spectacular costumes, pulsating music and paralleled stamina for partying.

Carnival

Location Trinidad is located in the Lesser Antilles of the Caribbean. The Capital of Trinidad is Port of Spain. The population is 1,328,019 tropical islanders. It’s located three hours from Miami.

Language The official language is English with Spanish and French to a lesser degree.

Climate The climate is warm all year around with average temperatures around 82 degrees.

Religion The religion varies from Catholic, Hindus, Adventists, Baptist, Muslim and Pentecostal. No one religion stands out as the dominant one.

Foods Foods are Rotis, doubles, curries which is a popular spice. Roti consist of shrimp, potato, chicken wrapped up in a flat bread. Doubles consist of a sandwich made up of two bara ( flat fried bread ) filled with channa ( curried chick peas )

Sports Cricket, golf and volleyball are the favorite sports in Trinidad and Tobago.
