Developed vs. Developing Nations Developed: Highly industrialized, good technology, good economy Developing: Pre-industrialization, unstable economy, possibly based around agricultural

Overpopulation More people than resources Causes: ● Increase in births ● Decrease in deaths ● Increase in immigration ● Depletion of resources

Infant Mortality Rate The estimated number of infant deaths per every 1000 births. Measures the health and well being of a nation.

NAFTA North American Free Trade Agreement - An agreement for free trade (no taxes on exports and imports) between the US, Mexico, and Canada. * This trade agreement is the largest in the world.
