Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to – describe the nature, role and importance of comparative law; demonstrate the relationship between the major legal systems in the world; appraise the diversity of law and legal institutions; conduct comparative legal research in a confident manner; and explain the relevance of comparative law in the harmonisation of civil law and the Sharī‘ah.
