AIM: How are proteins structured?
The monomers of proteins are amino acids. Each amino acid contains: An amino group A carboxylic acid An Alpha carbon A Hydrogen “R” side chain
The R group determines the different amino acids
For each amino acid, Draw a triangle around the amino group, Draw a square around the Carboxyl group, and circle the R group.
