Plan page 1: These are the things you will do to prepare. In 6.02, you will complete a Service Project Exploration Sheet You will look for areas in your community, neighborhood, school or church in which you have an interest. You will look for existing projects. Are you already volunteering? If you are, you may use this as your service project. Be sure to check with your instructor first. In 6.03, you will use the questions in the lesson and interview someone directly involved in the area you choose for your project. Examples: If you are donating to an animal shelter you will interview the person in charge. If you are volunteering for an organization, you will interview the person in charge of student volunteers. In 6.04, you will create your MAD goal for your Service Project. It must be Measurable, Attainable and have a Deadline.

Project Component 2 IMPACT SUMMARY Link is in 6.06 Summary and Assessment directions step 2.

Project Component 3 DIGITAL REFLECTION GUIDE Include at least 10 photos or a video. Here is what we suggest: Get your images and reflection responses together, and put them all in one document. Most students prefer doing a power point or word document, but if you would like to do a web 2.0 presentation like prezi, that’s fine. RESPONSES TO THE REFLECTION QUESTIONS In the next two slides you will see a part of one student’s project. This student had 17 slides and completed her responses to the Reflection Questions in the text on each slide.

Questions? You have the power to do amazing things! Serve others and reach for the stars!
