© 2013 Chevron Prop. 39 Approved by Voters in November  Governor’s budget provided $2.75 billion over next five years for energy efficiency in K-12 schools  Legislature currently debating proposals for funding disbursement  Chevron Energy Solutions has testified several times regarding program design and procedures 2

© 2013 Chevron Governor’s Plan  K-12 school districts  Energy efficiency  $67/ADA for five years  For Jurupa that’s $1.4 million each year for five years total $7 million 3

© 2013 Chevron Chevron Energy Solutions Offer for Jurupa USD  CES assists in preparing Prop 39 application  If funding is awarded – District agrees CES will build the project  If no funding and no project – no fees for project development/application  If funded and District chooses not to have CES build the project, then District would pay a predetermined fixed fee  CES does not guarantee funding for this project 5
