Jaime Pérez Lyon, February 2011

The EQUAL group –No activity in the last months. The Domain Reputation WG of the IETF –No activity since November There’s some initial proposal with five action guidelines: A model for reputation interchange A MIME type for reputation information A vocabulary for sender’s reputation Using the DNS for reputation interchange Using HTTP/XML for reputation interchange

New plasma list inside IETF –Yet Another Non-Working Group about reputation: Policy Augmented S/MIME. –Its aim is to develop a framework for enforcing a more robust access control mechanism, based on existing CMS, S/MIME, WS-Trust and SAML based policy enforcement standards.

IPv6 migration –RedIRIS has been working recently in the migration of its infrastructure to IPv6. This includes reputation related services (white and black DNS lists), which are now fully compatible with the protocol. –There’s and extended abstract available with further details, ask us for it if you want more information.
