Master Plan Purpose Strategic guidance for future greenway development –Integrate recreation, transportation, natural resource management and improved water quality –Natural and cultural resource stewardship –Greenway trail alignment, interpretive themes and design direction –Implementation strategies: land protection, phasing, capital and operations budgets, cost share –Regional greenway status

Public & Stakeholder Input Technical Advisory Group (TAG) meetings during each phase of the project –Representatives from: City of Burnsville, City of Lakeville, City of Farmington, Three Rivers Park District, Vermillion River JPO, Dakota County Historical Society, Scott County, Dakota County Individual meetings with key landowners and stakeholders Community Open Houses –First open house to introduce the projects and get input on alternatives January 24 th 2013, Lakeville Water Treatment Plant 6:00-8:00 PM January 15 th 2013, Lebanon Hills Visitor’s Center 6:00-8:00 PM –Second open house will be held in Spring 2013 for input on the Draft Master Plan Greenways Website:
