It is primarily used for fluff control in news print and ground wood containing sheets. It can be added to either acidic or alkaline papers of any basis weight. It performs effectively in a wide pH range and provides following benefits: Reduce linting and dusting. Improve wet rub resistance. Improve scuff resistance. Antiblocking and other hydrophobic related properties.

FEATURES APPLICATION AND DOSAGE BILTREAT WX 8010 can significantly reduce fluff in newsprint and at the same time improve wet rub and scuff resistance of paper, while enhancing other measurable properties such as wax pick, Z direction tensile, internal bond etc. The benefits of MAXTREAT WX 2010 are that: Product remains in surface. Provides smooth sheet. Lesser consumption for better surface properties. Miscible with water. BILTREAT WX 8010 should be fed neat or can be made down for dosing in the wet end, or at the size press run tank with the addition point below the surface of the starch solution or even at calendar stack wet box. Dosages are application dependent and ranges from 500 gms to 1 Kg/tonne of dry fibre. BILTREAT WX 8010 is a high solid product and should be dosed by using reciprocating pump with non-spring loaded check valve. BILTREAT WX 8010 can be used in other chemistries or as a stand alone product.
