Tier II – Small Group Intervention □Tier I students identified as struggling □Additional 30 minutes of targeted small group intervention □Students in Tier II are progress monitored every 2 weeks □Tier II small group instruction is aligned with Tier I content and strategies

Connecting Data to Instruction □Gaps in achievement identify gaps in instruction □Data identifies student needs – student needs equal teacher needs □Conduct grade-level data meetings 2- 3 times per semester

Connecting Data to Instruction □Expect teachers to use data to inform their instruction □Follow up by observing instruction □Individual meetings concerning students still in Tier II or III and not progressing
