Haverford Middle School Bring Your Own Device Day Friday, November 24, 2014

What can I bring to school?  Smart phone  Apple Watch  iPod  iPad  Nook  Game Boy  PSP

When can I use it?  You can use your personal technology device during lunch. It stays in your locker before and after lunch.  You can use your personal technology device in class with teacher approval. Personal technology devices should be used for instructional purposes. It stays in your locker before and after any classes you have teacher approval to use.

What do I need to be aware of?  You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy  HMS website > Student Life > Student handbook > Internet Responsibility Use Policy  6 th grades signed this at the beginning of the year  7 th & 8 th graders signed this last year  Do not take photos/videos in the building  Do not use your personal technology in common areas like the hall, bathroom, locker room, etc.  Use your device only during approved times  Be responsible and respectful so we can do this more often
